You must have front office experience.
Scrap yard experience is a plus.
The company is looking for a long term employee to be a team player and to back up the manager to ensure the smooth operation of purchasing scrap metal.
Responsibilities:
Help weigh and pay customers Answer phones Assist office manager Perform related administrative duties Quote daily prices for scrap purchasing Supervise purchasing, sorting, packaging, and processing of material Maintain and report daily and monthly inventory Communicate with HQ regarding staff, materials, loads processed and shipped Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe to maintain efficiency Report all equipment-related issues for urgent attention; maintain equipment
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED Must have experience in a front office, scrap metal/scrap yard is a plus Computer-savvy 2
previous employer references Punctual, courteous with customers, strong work ethic Effective communication No criminal background Job Details:
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:
30am-4:
30 pm and Saturdays 7:
30am-12pm Pay:
$18/hour (pay based on experience)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
