Responsibilities:
Model Old Navy Brand Associate Standards: I am Ready, I am Approachable, I am Urgent
Demonstrate Old Navy Denim Specialist Differentiators: I am Proactive, I am Resourceful, I am Exciting
Communicate technical features, product attributes and Old Navy value to customers
Encourage customers to shop Denim across all divisions
Invite customers to try on product in the fitting room and suggest additional items. Connect with customers by asking open-ended questions
Invite customers to open an Old Navy Credit Card and maximize its benefits and rewards
Gather anecdotal feedback from customers and communicate it to Field and HQ business partners
Utilize Brand direction and merchandising resources to frequently update product placement and visual displays
Drive all Merchandise Handling SOPs: Sign to Sell, Mark to Move and Door to Floor
Provide a neat, clean, organized and safe shopping environment for our internal and external customers
Understand and follow all company-defined policies and procedures
Knowing the Competition
Because we want to grow our market share in Denim, we need to know who our competitors are, what products and services they offer and why customers choose them over Old Navy. Successful Denim Stylist
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pound
Ability to effectively maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom
Ability to sell and demonstrate strong customer focused service on and off the sales floor
Ability to reach outside of the store and within the community
Ability to work a schedule design to meet the needs of the business
Ability to attend periodic meetings and training classes outside of normal availability
Ability to work with and around cleaning chemicals
Measure of Success
My denim department is presented to company standards
I achieve all daily and weekly sales metrics including Old Navy Credit Cards, OIS, MPOS, as well as my denim department is achieving LY sales and outpacing the company average
I consistently drive excellent customer service with internal and external customer
I proactively train and educate my team on denim fit, fabrications and trends
I proactively build a repeat customer for my Denim department that drives incremental business to the department
I consistently shop the competition to identify gaps in my current opportunities within my Denim Department
